From March 4th to the 13th, Bal Harbour Shops will host the international debut of Fleurs de Villes FEMMESa celebration of women of note, of consequence, of significance.

Next month, Bal Harbour Shops’ lush landscape will immerse guests into the world of floral couture with Fleurs de Villes FEMMES, a showcase of floral talent and extraordinary women. The 10-day event debuting on March 4th is imagined by Fleurs de Villes co-founders Tina Barkley and Karen Marshall.

The Vancouver-based duo, who established their brand in 2015, work with local floral designers to create unforgettable installations around the world. In the case of Fleurs de Villes FEMMES, the stellar lineup includes 21 high-profile names: Alejandro Figueira, Andres Aguilar Designs, Aniska Creations, Anthology, Bloominescent, Casaflor, DIVINE Creations, Hayal Flowers Design & Events, Indigo Hues Designs, Jassi & Co Creative, La Feterie, LeChat Roses, Luxury Flowers Miami, Maison La Fleur, Oscar Mora Floral Art & Design, Petal Productions, Plan Design Events, The Flora Buds, The Soiree Aesthetic, Twigs and Daises and Primrose Floral & Event Design.

Floral artist Sandra De Ovando created Bal Harbour Shops’ mannequin for last year’s Fleur de Villes Rosé.

Coinciding with Women’s History Month, Fleurs de Villes FEMMES celebrates remarkable women from all periods of history—the muses for the designers are a diverse and accomplished group and include tennis legend Billie Jean King, the French star Sarah Bernhardt, the iconic American writer Joan Didion, Queen Anne, Washington Post publisher Katherine Graham, Cleopatra and Audrey Hepburn, who Bal Harbour Shops chose as its muse. Under the artistry of the Miami-based, award-winning studio Aniska Creations, the Shops’ mannequin will take on the persona of Hepburn’s Eliza Dolittle in “My Fair Lady.”

These iconic names are presented in a gallery-like setting which guests can experience at their own pace on a self-guided tour. You can also look forward to flower installations in storefronts that engage the senses in every way with their confetti of colors and unique displays. Participating retailers include Alexandre Birman, Fendi, Brunello Cucinelli, Graff, Intermix, Fabiani Filippi, and David Yurman.

The 10-day event includes activities for kids, a flower market and an opportunity to vote for your favorite mannequin. But first, there’s the grand kick off: a private event in partnership with ACCESS and the Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis on Friday, March 4, honoring women of style and substance.

I adore the flower creations.
The entire event reminds me of the old days when shoppers were appreciated and shopping itself was great entertainment

I will be working on the same event in Chicago doing a flower mannequin. I am in Miami Friday, March 4. Is it open to the public March 4 or only the private event? That’s the only day I can visit it. Thank you

Calling all artists: What does your Bal Harbour Shops dream look like?

The 7th annual Bal Harbour Shops Creative Challenge is officially underway. This year, we invite illustrators from around the world to explore The Art of Dreaming—reimagining Bal Harbour Shops as a place where fashion, dining, nature, art and culture collide, and the impossible feels beautifully possible.

In partnership with Fida Worldwide, one Grand Prize winner will receive $3,500, have their work published in the Winter 2026 issue of Bal Harbour Magazine, and be commissioned for an upcoming editorial illustration project. Three finalists will each receive $750 and be featured across our digital channels.

Ready to dream? Submit your original work by October 16 [link in bio] and share it on Instagram using #BHSCreativeDream.
They may not make you early, but they will likely have you at least checking the time more often. With these diamond-encrusted watches from Chopard, you’re bound to want to get out and make a statement.
