Born and raised in Venezuela, personal shopper Luz Munoz has been working in Miami fashion since 2015, for such upscale brands as Burberry, Versace, and Dior. While her own style is decidedly eclectic, she always appreciates classics like the perfect little black dress, Chanel bag, statement sunglasses, and crisp white shirt.
“The most common issue I encounter when I see clients have trouble styling themselves is that they prioritize being on trend over understanding what actually best suits them,” she says. No matter what kind of look she’s creating for a client though, her goal is always to have them leave feeling as great as they look. “Fashion transcends mere clothing,” she says. “It’s about feeling confident and empowered.”

Growing up in Medellín, Colombia, a city full of color, culture, and an innate sense of style, personal shopper Valentina Velez feels her hometown shaped her aesthetic from an early age. Now, after living in Miami for 13 years, her taste is also influenced by the town’s energy and diversity, as she describes her own style as “minimalistic with intentional statement pieces to help her look effortless, refined, and elevated.”
Her own go-to pieces are usually a little black dress, an oversized blazer, straight-leg jeans, and a crisp button-down shirt. However, when it comes to styling others, she realizes the experience is far beyond just what someone wears. “Styling is not just about clothing. When a client ties to emulate someone else’s style without first understanding their own—rather than drawing inspiration, they replicate, which often disconnects them from what truly suits them,” she says. In her off time, Valentina enjoys spending quality time with her daughter, discovering new restaurants, and staying inspired through travel and wellness.
