Commanding Looks from Paris Fashion Week

Many of our Bal Harbour Shops’ brands exhibited the various layers of expressionism during Paris Fashion Week with richly hued silk satins, Egyptian-inspired silhouettes, extravagantly vibrant patterns, new waves of boho chic, two-tone combinations and more. Fashion houses are empowering women through explosively expressive designs for the Spring 2019 season. Our Saint Laurent ladies walked on water while Balmain packed their runway with gleaming metal bodices reminiscent of Egypt’s leading lady Cleopatra. It’s so Daum good. Appreciating the fusion of art, nature, and design that is the French house’s Gingko vase, which is the epitome of fluid elegance.

We made a splash. Last night, a mix of tastemakers and fashion’s finest celebrated the launch of the limited-edition Bal Harbour Shops x Orlebar Brown swim short collaboration. Guests like Dale Moss, Sebastian Gomez, Gianfranco Berardinelli, Danielle and Aloni Matzon—and others—kicked off the night at Orlebar Brown with cocktails before dining around a table adorned with monogrammed napkins and tropical flowers as a nod to the collab. From the music to the mood, it was evident that summer has officially begun.
