This spring season floral prints are having a flashback to the past with a prevalence of vintage-inspired blossoms and bold colorful fabrics from Etro’s radiant red ensemble to Versace’s multi-printed wide leg look. As we enter the new year, let us begin to warm our wardrobes with blossoming runway looks that will keep us looking fresh for months to come.

From all-natural florals to a total metallic mood, the spring runways were full of some serious heavy metal looks that are surprisingly easy-to-wear and hard to miss. Balmain goes intergalactic with their sleek knee highs and bold shouldered silver onesie. If you’re looking for a more traditional pretty in platinum look, Roberto Cavalli has you covered with a healthy dose of silver from head-to-toe.

Ladies commanded the runway with powerful polka dot looks ranging from nude tones to striking black and whites. While we typically think of dots as an ode to yesterday, we’re definitely feeling these modern takes on the dot from this Dolce & Gabbana runway look complimented by an over-sized polka dotted umbrella to a more subdued Earthy look by Escada.

If you’re feeling like trying out these trends for yourself, make your way to Bal Harbour Shops for the latest looks and must haves.

“Drawing from the elegance and symbolism of Japanese aesthetics, this floral couture gown expresses spring as a season of renewal, precision, and living beauty. A dramatic, obi-inspired pink waistband represents harmony and strength.” —Lorrie Sanon, Indigo Hues Designs, presented by Makoto.

“Our mannequin captures the spirit of spring through a fresh, fashion-forward botanical vision. Designed in a palette of crisp whites and soft blues, the gown is composed of layered spring blooms that create movement, lightness and texture, evoking blossoms unfolding in a European cafe garden.” —Nadja Rain Soimaud, Flowers by Rain, presented by Avenue 31 Cafe.
This is how we like to get toasty.
