Founded in 1889, LANVIN is the oldest French fashion house in operation today. Four years later, it is the consecration. Jeanne Lanvin gets her own storefront on the prestigious rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré and sets up the fashion house that bears her name. Success was immediate and Parisian women flocked to “Lanvin (Mlle Jeanne) Modes”.
