Make it a Double

Nobody does super premium, slightly bohemian, all-in luxury like Brunello Cucinelli. And while the Italian house has long been known for its textile fineries—sporting jackets, ultra-soft scarves, and wardrobe-staple sweaters among them—it has expanded in the handheld accessories game of late thanks to the creative directorship of sisters Camilla and Carolina Cucinelli.

Enter: The BC Duo Bag collection for Spring 2025, which is named for Brunello Cucinelli’s iconic initials as an embodiment of the brand’s heritage, craftsmanship, and modern, everyday outlook. The Cucinelli sisters envisioned these carriers as a mirror of their own shared aesthetics: an elegant balance of traditional and contemporary.

The BC Duo Bags are built on equilibrium; they’re structured yet fluid, and highly sophisticated while retaining an easygoing vibe. Tote bags in form, they feature added angular paneling for visual dynamism—and really, as a result, they are a perfect everyday bag for the subtly stylish. With soft textures and a nuanced, muted color palette, the bags are an extension of the Brunello Cucinelli ethos of highbrow-yet-pragmatic design.

Each BC Duo Bag is exactingly constructed to emphasize not only its purity in simplicity, but also, its lightness. Its clean geometric panels meet with precision, while understated stitching and finishing adds to the stealthy luxuriousness of the piece. Discreet details, such as an embossed Brunello Cucinelli logo and fine monili embroidery, enhance the concept and underscore the brand’s signature craftsmanship.

For Spring 2025, BC Duo Bags debut in four sizes, from a new mini for light daily essentials to a large model for day-to-night (or weekend) versatility. The collection’s materials range from fine-grain calfskin and suede to metallic lamé leather, with select dyed denim styles. The color palette reflects the season’s refined warmth: classic browns, black, and ivory, alongside fresh shades of sage, peach, and washed blue.

Timeless, effortless, and fastidiously crafted: the BC Duo Bag collection is a study in if-you-know-you-know modern luxury.

“Drawing from the elegance and symbolism of Japanese aesthetics, this floral couture gown expresses spring as a season of renewal, precision, and living beauty. A dramatic, obi-inspired pink waistband represents harmony and strength.” —Lorrie Sanon, Indigo Hues Designs, presented by Makoto.
