If you’re in need of a little sweet relief, you’ll want to mark your calendar for May 20th and 21st when Bal Harbour Shops is transformed into a haven for ice cream enthusiasts. The fifth annual Ice Cream We Love event kicks off its 2-day celebration on Saturday and promises to be the most exciting year yet!
All weekend long, Bal Harbour Shops’ lush walkways will be transformed into an ice cream shop bursting with 18 pop-ups from beloved national and local brands alongside life-sized games, ice cream toss stations, face painting and entertainment for the whole family.
Ice cream enthusiasts can indulge in classic flavors and discover new favorites from gelato and paletas to ice cream sandwiches, innovative donuts with ice cream, and much more throughout all three levels of the luxury shopping destination. Travelers and locals alike can accompany Bal Harbour Shops’ window- shopping eye candy with flavorful sweets from coveted local and national brands including Cry Baby Creamery, Milk Bar, Shake Shack, Sweet Guilt by Angelica, Yonutz! Fantastical Donuts & Ice Cream and sweet treats from our own Bianco Gelato and Le Zoo.
Face painting, ice cream and churros—what more can a kid desire?
New this year for Miami visitors, two of Bal Harbour’s luxury hotels The Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour, Miami and The St. Regis Bal Harbour are offering exclusive ice-cream lover’s packages. At The Ritz-Carlton, guests can book a two-night stay, which includes two adult tickets and two children’s tickets to Ice Cream We Love, and a sweet in-room treat by Chef Samantha Grand. And, at The St. Regis Bal Harbour, just across Bal Harbour Shops, guests can book their suite category of choice for two nights between May 18th and May 22nd and receive daily breakfast at Atlantikós along with event access for two adults and two children.
Originally launched in 2017, the annual event honors Bal Harbour Shops founder Stanley Whitman and his dedication to philanthropic service and continuous support of Holtz Children’s Hospital located at the University of Miami/ Jackson Memorial Center. Ice Cream We Love is a ticketed event with all proceeds benefiting Holtz Children’s Hospital. Adult tickets are $50 and youth tickets (ages 3 to 17) are $20.
