On Wednesday, November 5th, Bal Harbour Shops celebrated 60 years with a black-tie affair welcoming over 800 guests. Upon arrival, guests were immersed into a “Vacationland” style experience through a striking, hotel-inspired check-in provided by Bal Harbour Village. This milestone celebration was a tribute to vision, legacy, and the art of living beautifully.
Bal Harbour Shops’ iconic Center Courtyard was transformed into The Collins Club—a glamourous 60s inspired cocktail club exclusively designed for the event— taking center stage with beats by DJ Isaac Likes and surprise performances from legendary artists, Chaka Khan and Gipsy Kings featuring Nicolas Reyes.
Guests toasted the night away with cocktails courtesy of Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits and Pommery Brut Royale, all while overlooking the Shops’ iconic Center Courtyard from Whitman’s Bar, distinguishably designed in partnership with Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau to pay homage to Bal Harbour Shops founder Stanley Whitman.
Party-goers wondered through the palm-framed corridors and explored interactive installations from BALMAIN, YAFA Signed Jewels, and Braman Miami, along with additional brand moments by Miu Miu, Prada, Moncler, and Brunello Cucinelli.
The event showcased an exclusive preview of dishes from China Grill and Slim’s, giving guests a first taste of the highly anticipated restaurant concepts set to open in 2026. Makoto and Carpaccio served up fan-favorites, while Avenue 31 Café sweetened the evening with a decadent dessert installation and a Gelato Cart.
