Miami Children’s Museum remains dedicated to our mission and to doing everything we can to serve our vast audience. We pivoted our business model by utilizing our team’s knowledge of early childhood education and our strengths in visual and performing arts as a vehicle for creating new and original educational experiences that are fun and engaging for children. The Museum team approached our building’s closure as an opportunity to think outside the box and expand our program offerings on a new virtual platform.
Our Museum has always been the town center for children and families to learn through play and create unique experiences. While we are unable to welcome you to our home we thank you for welcoming us into yours through our Museum at Home program. These virtual offerings feature our artists, theatre troupe and wonderful educators providing many of the experiences you have enjoyed in the Museum. Our current catalogue contains more than 80 engaging videos and step-by-step guides for the entire family.
Through our new initiatives, we provide accessible art-enriched resources that celebrate diversity, promote literacy, support social and emotional development, build school readiness, and empower children to achieve their highest potential. We also invite you to experience our Museum in a Box. Available through our website, these kits and other engaging educational activities encourage children to play, learn, imagine and create.
