FIG is delighted to announce FIGAF Miami; an adjunct to Italy in Miami. FIGAF Miami is a small pared down edition of FIGAF previously presented in London, that brings together for the first time in the US works by Rosie McGuinness, Tanya Ling, Jacky Blue, Gill Button, Jordi Labanda, Richard Haines, David Downton and Blair Breitenstein.
Leading the field and as a complement to our host’s Italian theme, the Italian born Roman artist, Andrea Ferolla will take center stage of FIGAF Miami with a new group of works that embody his sensibility. Ferolla, one half of the creative force behind Rome’s Chez Dede, is an illustrator whose works are charming, chic and romantic. There’s a timeless quality to the imagery and the characters that inhabit his imaginary world, a lightness of touch to his mark and precision in its application.
