Miami Swim Week begins on Thursday and with it comes a slew of events, lots of bare skin and an army of bikini-clad models taking part in what is undoubtedly the sexiest fashion week of them all. To observe and report on all of the week's happenings, we brought in a handful of top fashion bloggers from Europe and South America who will share their musings in the coming days. Here, we introduce you to the girls behind the blogs.

GALA GONZALEZ (amlul.com)
London-based, Spanish born 27-year-old Gala Gonzalez has an enviable job description: blogger, creative director, DJ and occasional model. As she prepared for her first visit to Miami for Swim Week, she shared what she’s packing, what she’s coveting for fall and who she’s following online.

What was the first thing you packed?
My Dior make up essentials and sunglasses.

Who are your favorite fashion designers?
Saint Laurent, Emporio Armani, Sergio Rossi.

Who is your favorite swimwear designer?
Beach Riot.

On your wish list for the fall...
A Chanel boy bag in the new winter colors.

My very own! I just launched under Warner Music my own playlist called Gala Gonzalez Fashion Music vol.1.

It's my very first time and I cannot wait!

Água de Côco, Lenny, Triya and Adriana Degreas. All brazilian brands!

Dolce & Gabbana, Stella McCartney and Valentino.

What was the first thing you packed?
On each trip I start organizing my suitcase for a specific part, for this trip I will start with the printed skirts that are the hit of the summer. My choices were Peter Pilotto’s and Isolda’s skirts.

What's the first thing you'll be doing when in town?
Going to the beach, and then checking out the new collections in my favorite shops at Bal Harbour! I’ll also make time for my favorite restaurants in the city, such as Carpaccio and Cecconis.

On your wish list for the fall...
A Cutler & Gross sunglasses.

What's on your radar for the fall?
Well, I can't stop thinking about Dolce & Gabbana's collection.

The 25-year-old fashion designer and blogger is in the know when it comes to fashion, culture, food and gossip, and has a cult  following on her Brazilian-based blog, Garotas Estúpidas. Hot on the heels of her first cover shoot for Glamour Brazil—a first for a blogger—we caught up with the Recife-born and based Couinho as she prepared for Miami Swim Week.

The London-based 31-year-old is the founder of In + Addition, a marketing and communications company with a focus on fashion and lifestyle. Her blog, Style Trail, bridges fashion, art and design into one addictive destination. Here, Judd shares her plans for Miami Swim Week.

Where were you born?
London but I grew up in the South of Spain.

Do you have a favorite swimwear designer?
Not sure if it’s my favorite necessarily, but I’m loving Kenzo at the moment.

Miu Miu, Lanvin…. and I just discovered Claudie Pierlot!

Which swim show you're most looking forward to?
Cabana, on the pool of Soho House Beach House.

I would be very happy with ones of these.

Have you visited Miami and Bal Harbour Shops before?
Yes, for Basel and Winter Music Conference -- it’s becoming a habit! Bal Harbour is an extraordinary place. A tropical shopping paradise.
