Goldtone Neck Cuff, Metal Cuff and Cuff Bracelet.

Michael Kors is arguably the king of American luxury sportswear. His namesake line has been channeling jet set lifestyle since its inception in 1981, and now, 30 years later, his classic looks still speak to the modern woman.

The latest expression of his modern musings is Fall’s new jewelry collection. Drawing upon the iconic details that represent the Michael Kors style—chain detail, mixed materials and iconic hardware—the collection carries out Kors’ vision to deliver to the modern woman the perfect jewelry box.

“I’ve always thought of accessories as the exclamation point of a woman’s outfit,” says Kors. “Now, with my jewelry collection, I can deliver the full spectrum of the Michael Kors vision for a truly fabulous look.”

The complete jewelry collection includes necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings and watches in metal finishes and leather detailing that coincide with the brand’s current accessories lines.

Among the standout pieces in the collection are those that play on the cuff motif, including a neck cuff, metal cuff and cuff bracelet. The cuffs were first seen during Fall’s runway show, and you can bet these statement pieces are going to linger. “Something that is here to stay in the jewelry world is modern sculptural jewelry,” says Kors. Those kinds of pieces automatically give a modern edge to anything you're wearing.”

We’re also partial to the embossed leather bracelet with a buckle closure, which Kors noted as achieving “a sort of rock and roll equestrian attitude.” Several of the pieces in the collection play with the idea of mixing materials, like leather and metal, tortoiseshell and metal and chains. Explained Kors, “I love the idea of leather mixed with something shiny and gleamy. You get this chains are at once classic, utilitarian and very glamorous all at once.”

What can be more fabulous than that?
