Move to Cure

On April 30, Bal Harbour Shops and Tracy Anderson present Move to Cure, an initiative founded by Tracy Anderson to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. This unprecedented event invites guests to take part in a series of events at Bal Harbour Shops, with 100% of the proceeds benefitting the BCRF.

“My life’s work is dedicated to creating tools that support balance where there is imbalance in the body,” says Anderson. “Women have been my focus for 17 years.”

There are three ways to take part in this fundraising effort. For the most face time with the inimitable Tracy Anderson, Hot Pink is your ticket! Enjoy breakfast, a lecture and Q&A with Anderson at The Grill at Bal Harbour from 8:00am-9:00am. You’ll also benefit from VIP placement alongside Anderson in her personally-guided workout session from 9:30am-10:30am, followed by a private meet and greet at her pop-up studio from 10:30am-11:30am.

Next option is the Pink ticket, which will guarantee you prime placement near Anderson in her workout session, followed by the private meet and greet. And, for Light Pink ticket-holders, take part in Tracy’s guided workout and take home a limited-edition Move to Cure t-shirt—which all ticket-holders will receive at registration.

“I have been on the board of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) for 10 years and have been co-chairing the board the last three years,” says Kinga Lampert, who’s on the host committee for the event. “I am deeply passionate about the importance of breast cancer research—the statistic is that 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime and I believe that research is what stands between today and a cure. I have young children and I want them to know a world without breast cancer.”

If anyone is on the fence about taking part in this incredible day, Anderson has a few words to share: “Look, I get that I’m asking you to come to one of the most impressive malls in the world to work out but trust me—I can give you a great workout anywhere! There is something really powerful about people setting aside all of their hesitations for the greater good of the things in life that really matter.”
