| To bring luxury fashion into nature... To pair the breathtaking
beauty of the Everglades with high fashion. We are all attracted
to the unbelievable imagery taken by the famous Clyde Butcher
who has made a career out of shooting the scenery in
the
Everglades. We were attracted by how the light feels
different
there and wanted a photographer skilled enough
to
understand
how to best capture natural light and who would use
the
colors
of the sky and the water to give the film a painterly
quality.
Making beautiful images
is hard but making memorable
images is reserved for those
at the very top of their game and
even then, a lot of creative
planning and a little bit of luck are
still needed. While we knew
that these unbelievable clothes hand-picked from the
Spring 2010 shows would look amazing paired with the raw
beauty of Everglades scenery, we wanted to add another
element. Certain animals are so beautiful and so graceful
that they give the same feeling that can overcome you when
you see anything of great beauty. So.... we got ourselves the
most beautiful giraffe we could find.
